We want you to create the map/archive of climbs
This summer will be full of innovation for La Flame Rouge! One of them is the creation of a very powerfull archive of world climbs. With the support of a handy map and the stage editor, it there will be a very usefull and unique to create stages and training routes. A lot of users asked it and we didn't ignore them.
Also the cobble maps there will be revolutionized. The current has a lot of problem, but we will fix all of them.
The staff has already added 2000 ascents, but the archive, with its map, will be published in late summer, when the number of climbs will be incalculable.
After September every user will submit archive climbs to be approved by admins. For the moment we prefer to work in private to make this heroic quest as uniform and complete as possible.
However, we look for some willing users, that want to help us. These users will be enter in a private group to be informed and coordinated. The best users, will be rewarded, for example with the offer to join the Stage Editor Staff.
We need serious people, who are available during this summer. We prefer active people on the site and/or forum. Everyone can apply for this job sending me a private message. I and emmea90 will be evaluate every application.
Some clarifications:
1) I will confirm the reception of evey application, but I won't communicate their rejected, only their acceptance. I hope that everyone can understand the restrictions on the number of participating users we are forced to impose and our preference to active users. However not despond, maybe we will contact you a month later. As I said, in the future everyone will be able to participate.
2) In the application talk about your availability (months, weeks...) and specify your nationality. We pretend a lot of diligence, at least 500 climbs each, so if you don't have time, don't apply.
3) The group will remain secret, we don't notify the participants, but they can say it publicly and freely. At the end of the private work, the group wil be closed.
So, if you want to help La Flamme Rouge, contact me!

This is an anticipation of the map:
Do you like it? It's still "work in progress"

I am fully not entitled to say anything about when the map is going to be online (mostly due to the fact that I am not part of the staff, but I also dont know when the work will be done). I can tell you that there is people working on that, both between staff and users. So dont despairCamenzind wrote:News about that
