  • Description

[Eng] The race unites the two capitals of Italy, the economic one, Milan, and the political one, Rome, with a high symbolic value. Italy is among the most beautiful countries in the world and, of course, will not disfigure in a race that crosses some of the most beautiful landscapes: the Lombard hills, the Ligurian coast, the white roads and the Tuscan hills and then the Eternal City.
The heterogeneity of the territory promises spectacle, making each stage like a race in itself where different cyclists can exal. The high mountain stage will undoubtedly decide the overall ranking, but the leaders will not have to fall into the ambushes of the intermediate stages and the chronometer, very moved. Even the last stage will not be simple catwalk, but in case of detachments content could prove decisive.
