Primera etapa de la Vuelta a España Sub-23. Contrarreloj por equipos en los alrededores de la zona turística de Isla Antilla. El recorrido alterna zonas donde entrar muy bien al relevo, sobre todo en la primera parte, con otras más sinuosas y técnicas en la parte central. Servirá para abrir las primeras diferencias entre los favoritos.
