Re: Contest #3 - Voting

5. Jajoejoe Good build-up. Don't really like the long time trial. But overall a good Tour. 4. IamCeeKae Well balanced, a hard but good last three mountain stages. Similar to the real Tour, but in the Pyrenees. 3. Bocmanis82 All the finish cities are very good. Not those strange small cities, but cit...

Re: Contest #3 - Voting

Honestly, I can't vote on this one... I know I may always seem harsh but just as IamCeeKae I have some rules of my own. The most important thing for me is that the roads and finishes must be realistic, that is also the way I make my routes. And I can't find a lot of routes that have all the things ...

Re: Contest #3 - Tour de France 2019

This is my Tour: https://www.la-flamme-rouge.eu/maps/tours/view/12122 1. Bruxelles - Chateau de Laeken (flat) It's the real stage. The stage doesn't need any changes. There will be a fight between the cobble riders who will wear the mountain jersey at the end of the day and a big fight between the s...

Re: Giro d'Italia 2018 - Voting

5th place. ciro.abete A nice route, but I think that the time trial kilometers are too long in total. 4th place. pabloagb I really like the stage to Val Gardena. You have a good route. Maybe it was better to stay with the normal Israel stages. 3rd place. Lorenzo06 I saw the Bormio stage and I though...

Re: Winter Stage Races - Voting

I’ve started with looking at the finish places/lines of the stages. You need to be aware of the situation that on the finish place there has to be a podium, a stand and the commentators boxes. That’s why the Tour organisation rarely finishes on the big cols. Most of the routes has finish lines on pl...

Re: Tour de France 2018 (Cat. 1, deadline on 7/7)

- You have to keep Vendeé grand Depart with 3 days of racing in it. The 3rd stage of the Tour is the TTT in Cholet. Thats outside the Vendee. Can I also use Cholet and Nantes for the third stage? Or do I have to stay in the Vendee? And can I copy the first two stages in the Vendee like the Giro cont...

Re: Winter Stage Races (Cat. 2, deadline on 14/3)

''Col d'Eze must be inserted in the route with Nice hosting a stage finish''. So if I end a time trial on the Col d'Eze, is that a stage finish in Nice or not?

Re: Tour Down Harder - Voting

I’ve based my vote on the space beyond finishing lines, distance between the finish place and the start place the next day and of course who has the most challenging and exciting route. Fifth Place - 1 point: Mauro ( maps/tours/view/8117 ) A good build-up towards the mountain stage. A lot of stages ...
