Re: Contest #4 - UCI Road World Cup

No kidding    One thing to consider about your plans is that - although you're route might not work in the winter - you're only failing on 1 part of the criteria. So you still stand a chance of doing alright in the contest. Yes I think I will try. My point is that I'm not sure of rou...

Yes, or edit it I don't find anyway to delete a message. I'll see if I choose to edit it but honestly. I don't know roads of countries like mexico, africain countries or any other country that can for sure hosting such a classic between november and january . And this is exactly the point of this c...

Re: Contest #4 - UCI Road World Cup

Thanks Benoit! Calendar form rule can be substituted by another rule which program that races on arch from February to September, from November to January is right for only cyclo-cross and track cycling. If there was a world cup on the road, the cyclocross and track world cups would be overshadowed...

Re: Contest #4 - UCI Road World Cup

I don’t want to be that guy, but all races are in the winter from november to January. So your Gerardmer race would be near impossible as it’s probably snowing in there. And your race to the Genting highlands isn’t appliant to the rules as it doesn’t start and finish in the same place. I would chan...

Re: Contest #3 - Grand Tour of the Grand Tours - VOTING

One more time, the choice war difficult to make. I tried to let my emotions speak when I first saw the planimetry of each tour, then dig into the stages to elaborate my top 5. So here it is. 5th place : Pincoletto Your route seems pretty cool to me, well balanced and everything but I don't like the...

- You have to define also the rules (use tour description)
That's means we're able to choose whatever rules we want do we try to stick to existant rules (if they already exist)?

Re: Contest #3 - Grand Tour of the Grand Tours

You have to spilt the stages during the 21 days in an equal stages, possibly avoiding big plane transfers (except for the Paris stage) I'm not sure that I understand this sentence correctly... Does it means that we have to do 21 stages, 7 for Giro, 7 for Vuelta and 7 for TDF or does it have another...

You haven't met the one-hotel requirement.
Of course I did ! Pro Tour teams have buses you know ;) That won't change your vote and it's fine by me but, look at Ruta San Juan (same kind of one-hotel race). Some starts and arrival are way farther of the stay city than mine :)

FIFTH PLACE : emilio.torre Two good tour, well designed, but way to flat for me FOURTH PLACE : ColduRosier Your Giro di Basilicata is pretty good for sure , but I don't like the sprinter race you've made in Malta. But I salute the effort, the daring and the construction so, it's a fourth place ! THI...
