Re: Contest #4 - UCI Road World Cup - VOTING

First, something: Everyone with a race in UK, Belgium, Northern France, ... I just didn't watch the rest because the weather is too big a risk in my opinion, so the competition can't be done... Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to contest your votes or your way of thinking, but this seems a bit ha...

But I think that cobbled ...

Re: Contest #4 - UCI Road World Cup - VOTING

Nice to see you did it this way, because some peoples votes I never understand :p. But still some questions. You never mentioned the dates of the races (which was quite important because of snow). And also one thing I dont understand: You loose 4 points if you have a race in Europe (I don't get why...

Re: Contest #5 - Giro d'Italia [Cat. 1]

Do we have to identify a World Heritage Site with an intermediate sprint, or can we use any kind of intermediate, such as Climb or Generic sprint? I've designed a stage that passes through multiple sites, at least 5, hence my question. Generic sprint is not a sprint, it's just a mark on the profile...

Race 1: Kagoshima Sakurajima Classic (Sun 1/11) The first race brings the riders to the land of the rising sun, Japan. This almost totally flat race t...

Re: Contest #4 - UCI Road World Cup

One thing to consider about your plans is that - although you're route might not work in the winter - you're only failing on 1 part of the criteria. So you still stand a chance of doing alright in the contest. Well see that's what I always hate about the votes. Failing in one part of the criteria i...

Re: Contest #3 - Grand Tour of the Grand Tours - VOTING

Uhm I have a small question to those who already voted. Because of a small mistake emmea made the link of my tour doesn't work, and it was only opened 6 times (I think mostly by myself even). So if you guys didn't open my tour did you even open the others? (By the way I don't say this just because i...

Re: Contest #3 - Grand Tour of the Grand Tours [Cat. 1]

I don't know why, but the spoilers in my post do not open, and there's where I included all the climbs profiles and photos of the interesting places that the tour visits  59@@ Somebody knows how to solve it? you have to do
profile
As I see it you didn't close the spoiler

Re: Contest #2 - Benelux Cobbled Classics - VOTING

So many people have voted before me, and still some routes were only opened 3 or 4 times when i checked them... But aside from that, i've seen some great tracks, sadly also some bad ones but that's my own opinion just as I not always agree with your ideas :p The biggest mistakes I found were in the ...

Men: https://www.la-flamme-rouge.eu/maps/tours/view/13900 Women: https://www.la-flamme-rouge.eu/maps/tours/view/13901 I always tried to make the women's race on the same roads as the men's race, with some small exceptions. I also made sure both races could be done the same day, with the womens finis...

Re: Contest #1 - European Pre-Season Races - VOTING

I used some of my own rules, for example routes with stages of 230 km I didn’t take even to consideration, because I think that’s never happening in races as these. 1) Benoit.guillot Didn't really see something wrong with it 2) Jibvalverde Just on the profiles you would have won. But there is a rail...

Re: Contest #1 - European Pre-Season Races

The first tour I made is a Giro di Sardegna. A 6-days stage race for sprinters and punchers, although there is one longer MTF and also a ITT. I think this tour looks a lot like Vuelta ao Algarve. https://www.la-flamme-rouge.eu/maps/tours/view/13842 The first two stages are normally for sprinters, wi...

Re: Contest #6 - Giro Upside Down

almost impossible to make a nice Giro with these rules. If I conclude it that are 6 regions with hardly any big mountains that we have to have a finish in in the last week. (because it would be pointless to start in these regions and then go back to calabria in the last week)

Re: Contest #4 - Voting

Ah so I assume the minimum of 5 stages in those countries means it is on all of them together, not a minimum of 5 stages in each This was never really answered i think? It was 5 stages in each country, not in all of them together. so 5 in france, 5 in italy, 5 in suisse, 5 in belgium for example, o...
