Re: Contest #5 - Giro d'Italia [Cat. 1]

I just have one more question. Regarding some Heritage Sites such as the Dolomites, Val d'Orcia, the Cilento, etc, we can't simply mark them on the profile, so can they count if we design a stage dedicated to any of these Sites? Like for example a stage that goes through the heart of the Dolomites? ...

Re: Contest #5 - Giro d'Italia [Cat. 1]

Do we have to identify a World Heritage Site with an intermediate sprint, or can we use any kind of intermediate, such as Climb or Generic sprint? I've designed a stage that passes through multiple sites, at least 5, hence my question.

Re: Contest #4 - UCI Road World Cup

For the sake of this contest, can Hawaii count as North America? I have designed an Hawaiian race, and atm i don't have plans for a stage in the actual continent. I already have a substitute race in mind, but i'd like a clarification first

Re: Contest #4 - UCI Road World Cup

Are we limited to use only the bigger, more important cities (example: Population>100000 Habitants) or can we use any town that has been given the city status, regardless of it's population or importance?

Re: Contest #3 - Grand Tour of the Grand Tours [Cat. 1]

First of all, some comments on a copy-pasted old post of mine: 1. The "Big Start" is hosted by a city or a region. If the first stage is a prologue it would be better something atypical, not foreseeable. Hilly roads, cobblestones, corners are perfect for a good prologue, which mustn't block the tra...

Re: Contest #3 - Grand Tour of the Grand Tours [Cat. 1]

Well the Giro has previously used very narrow roads like the ones found in Passo di Pampeago, Fauniera, Sampeyre or Cazon di Lanza, even Finestre's descent is quite narrow, so i think it's okay, at least that's my opinion

[*]Passo Gavia is Most Height Mountain
According to Emmea, you have to avoid climbs over 2500m, so you might want to replace Passo di Gavia :)

Re: Giro 2020 route presentation

Overall, i like this route. It has very diverse stages with a something for everyone. It's again very backloaded, but with Etna and Montescuro in the first week, there's terrain for some GC action unlike this year. I would have liked a tiny bit more if they replaced Passo Durone with Passo Daone (or...

Re: Tour de France 2020 route presentation

There are some interesting Mid Mountain stages and they added some interesting climbs, such as the return to the Alpes Maritimes, Col de la Lusette and the finish in Pas de Peyrol in the Massif Central and Col de la Hourcere in the Pyrennes. However the latter is placed on the first part of an under...
